Studio History
Our studio was founded in 2012 by Jenny O'Brien with nothing but a dream, perseverance, and a deep passion for dance. What began as Dreams Dance Academy: The Traveling Studio - renting space at community and fitness centers in three different towns - quickly took off. Miss Jenny directed the studio for 12 wonderful years, growing not only a strong and reputable program within our community, but also shaping a place that teaches more than just dance, instilling confidence and joy in every dancer.

In August 2015, DDA found its home at our current location in St. Charles. Then, in June 2024, Miss Jenny chose to pursue her next dream and passed the torch to Miss Olivia, who is honored to carry on the legacy while leading the studio into its next chapter.

This next chapter honors our beginning at Dreams but will now be known as Vision - because dreams become reality when there is vision.
Our Studio
Dreams Dance Academy is entering a new chapter under the name Vision Dance, a name that reflects where we're going while honoring everything that brought us here. Every one of our teachers has a vision for how they want to train and lead dancers with care and intention. We have a vision for the studio culture and community we're building, one that is growth-focused and child-centered. Each dancer will be inspired by their dreams and empowered with vision.
